About
My name is Andy Welsh. I’m a DevOps Engineer and Sysadmin with particular interests in the areas of Linux, Automation, Infrastructure as Code, Security, Encryption and Scripting with a varied career in the IT industry from Architecture to Service Desk to crawling around running cables.
This site is a collection of my personal projects, as well as the builds, hacks and oddities that I’ve gleamed throughout my career.
I focus mostly in Linux personally and equally Windows and Linux professionally (both in cloud and ground deployments), as well as how to build resilient infrastructure on a shoestring budget for professional and personal use.
I try and write here about practical use cases, things that I’ve not been able to find a whole lot about anywhere else and sometimes just guides on whatever I’ve been working with with and the little quirks that don’t seem to have been especially well documented elsewhere.
